Seth has a passion for reading which makes him very resourceful and quick to offer words of inspiration. The one thing that stands out about him is that he carries a genuine positive attitude about the world. It takes a lot to get him down, and for the past 1 year and 3 months that I worked with him, I've never seen him down. He's a fighter as well as a motivator. I read his book "Trains Make U-Turns" and it's a clear example of what Seth loves do to and that is to teach others how to live positive, happy, and purposeful lives. I credit him for inspiring me to do things that I have always wanted to do, but never thought I could do. There was a time when I wanted to stop running at 3 miles. Seth came by my treadmill and gave me a few words of motivation and carried on his way. As a result, that 3 miles turned into 9. Now that's someone who can inspire!
It takes a special person to recognize the potential in others and then coach them to peak performance. That is exactly the person Seth is. I've seen him do this over and over again in the Dale Carnegie Training facility and I've also been fortunate enough to have first-hand experience with his enthusiasm, selflessness and belief in others. A few years ago, I belonged to Toastmasters. Seth was our Area Governor at the time and on the day of his visit, I was running the meeting. He saw something in me - something I didn't even see in myself - and it's because of Seth that I've had the opportunity to train with Dale Carnegie. Anyone can point out the obvious strengths in others, but Seth quickly reaches beneath the surface and hits a home run, creating results for himself and those around him.
